CLAY CENTER – Anthony Mattison, 36, of Osceola, has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for killing a Columbus woman and dumping her body in rural Clay County.
He was also sentenced to 48 years in prison for use of a firearm to commit a felony.
The shooting victim was Jasmine Garnett, 25. Her remains were found in a field near Harvard in 2022.
