Flood, Pillen & Smith Celebrate National School Choice Week in Nebraska

It’s #NationalSchoolChoice-Week and Nebraska is celebrating something big this year.In September, I joined Gov. Pillen and Rep. Adrian Smith as Nebraska became the first state in the nation to opt into the new federal school choice program.

Two Parks Running Club Annual Meeting

The Two Parks Running Club will hold their annual meeting on Thursday, February 12th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at the Rose Colored Glass.At this meeting you can learn about the club and sign up for 2026 membership.

Cross County Robotics at O’Neill

O’NEILL - Five robotics team traveled to O’Neill on a cold Saturday to compete in robotics. Three high school teams and two middle school teams made the trip. The middle school went for experience and both teams were 1-5 in qualifying rounds. They were not picked for the tourney.

Swedish Festival

June 19th-21st might seem like a long way off but it is time to start planning for the 2026 Swedish Midsommar Festival. Our first planning meeting will be held on Thursday, January 29th at 7 PM at the Stromsburg Public Library.
