LINCOLN — Cross County made its first state tourney appearance memorable with a 44-30 win over Summerland Wednesday.
The Cougars (23-5) will play top seed Amherst Friday at 1:30 p.m. Ashton Seim led all scorers with 17 points and keyed a 9-0 third quarter spurt that turned a 31-29 game into a blowout.
