The Stromsburg Chamber has gotten to the point where everyone has served, and people want a break. It’s hard to find people to step up and fill office roles or board positions. A discussion was held last fall that it might be better to call it a Community Club rather than a Chamber.

Polk County NewsThursday morning we celebrated the partnership of SafeNetRX with the Cancer Partners of Nebraska. Nebraska signed the contract with SafeNetRx in June and in the last few months we have 12 Nebraska clinics signed up to distribute medication to under- insured and uninsured folks.

Posh Pup: Dog Services Return to Shelby

SHELBY - Amy Renken has been grooming dogs for 15 years. She was at the Fullerton Vet Clinic for a while. Barb Fried taught her some and then she self-taught herself the rest.She took a break from grooming and was a para at Cross County School. Then she decided to come back to grooming.
