Cross County has eight out for golf this year. This year they are solo, not teaming up with Osceola. Osceola didn’t have any golfers out last year.The eight include five seniors: Brock Allen, Wyatt Hengelfelt, Kole Crawford, Marshall Johansen and Kalan Lane.

Cougars C-2 State Runner Up, End Season 26-3

LINCOLN –After two dramatic wins at state, there were no miracles for Cross County last Saturday afternoon as a barrage of turnovers in the closing minutes led to a late Archbishop Bergan run that sealed a 53-43 victory in the NSAA C2 boys basketball title game at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Cougars Earn Spot in C2 finals, edge West Holt 45-43

LINCOLN – After a closely-contested 41-38 win against Cedar Catholic Thursday in the NSAA boys basketball Class C2 quarterfinals, Cross County hoped to extend its 20-game win streak at the Bob Devaney Sports Center at the University of Nebraska Friday afternoon.

Cougars End Season With Loss to Elkhorn Valley at State

LINCOLN – Cross County met Elkhorn Valley (Tilden/Meadow Grove) at state girls basketball in Lincoln in the first round. Cross County was seeded fifth, with Elkhorn Valley fourth. The Falcons won 52-32.
