OSCEOLA- A new class for the Bulldogs in D-3, but the goals and expectations remain unchanged.The Osceola Bulldogs made the playoffs in 2025 and with the return of several key offensive players the Bulldogs hope to make a return to the postseason in 2026.

OSCEOLA- Just before October last year the Osceola Bulldogs were 13-1 and cruising along.The season did not end the way Osceola would have liked it to, but with three returning starters who made up a good portion of the production in 2025, Osceola will once again enter 2026 with big expectations.

Brodey SpurlingHigh Plains’ Brodey Spurling was one of the top three-sport athletes in the state. He will be following his love for the game of basketball to Doane University next fall. He averaged 15.7 points and 6.5 rebounds and was top 10 in most all of the other categories.

CLASS D GIRLS STATE TRACK AND FIELD

OMAHA- Area athletes came away with just one medal in the Class D girls section at the Nebraska State Track and Field Championships.Osceola’s Alexis Burritt cleared 5-1 in the high jump and tied for seventh scoring the Bulldogs’ only points of the meet.
The finals of the girls 100 meters was won by Natalie Laubers (far left) with Osceola’s Camryn Peterson (next to her) taking second. Also pictured is Riverside’s Ella Molt and Osceola’s Jadelynn Gifford (far right). Laubers and Peterson both qualified for state. PCN photo by Ken Kush.

OSCEOLA- The Osceola Bulldogs and the Nebraska Lutheran Knights girls track and field teams combined to score more points than the rest of the 10 team field at the D-2 District Track Meet in Osceola on Wednesday.Lutheran came away as the team champion as they rolled up 146.
