POLK — This year’s oneact production, “Captain Bree, Scourge of the Sea,” is a comedy that will shiver your timbers! This production will be entertaining, fast-paced, and full of laughs. Captain Jennings’ crew jumps ship, leaving him with a sailor who can’t swim and the task of protecting wealthy passengers from a pirate attack. Captain Bree and her lady pirates take advantage of this situation by demanding gold from the British for the lives of the rich passengers. Everyone in grades 9-12 interested in being a part of this production needs to let Mrs. Hofmann know by Monday, Aug. 29.
Not sure about being on stage or scared to be in front of people? NO WORRIES! There are a number of parts with a various number of lines and appearances on stage!
So, you don’t want to be on the stage but want to be involved? This production also needs people to run lights and sound, paint the set, and set up the stage during competitions. Let Mrs. Hofmann know if you are interested in “playing a part” in the tech/stage crew.
