Lightning Hits Shelby

Shelby fire chief Jon Eller reported the Shelby Fire and Shelby Ambulance were dispatched to the east Central Valley Ag elevator in Shelby for a lightning strike on Friday morning, July 7th. This is where a new elevator is being built. The Polk County Sheriff's office was also on scene. Osceola Ambulance and Rising City Ambulance were also called for mutual aide.
