To all parents: please send any photos and write ups of your child(ren) who were doing things this summer (any fair activities, music, camps, etc.) because we would love to showcase all the awesome things our students are doing outside of the classroom and throughout their summer! SHELBY — The Farmers Market returns Wednesday in Shelby.
The Shelby American Legion Post 296 will be having a fundraiser where they will be serving sandwiches from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the air conditioned Legion Club.
Come out and thank the local veterans for serving our country and enjoy a sandwich.
SHELBY — Parents of students involved in activities in grades 7-12 should have received an email from the school district with a link to a mandatory parent activity meeting video. This is now online and not done at orientation.
Parents need to watch with your student and sign off. The deadline to complete is Friday.
SHELBY - Stars, Stripes, and Stitches QoV group will be working at the Shelby Legion Post 296 Club from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Please join us for all or part of the day.
Everyone is welcome to come and help make comforting and healing Quilts of Valor to honor veterans and active duty service members.
Thank you to the Shelby Legion members for allowing us use of the club hall and to the Legion Auxiliary for providing lunch for our volunteers. Thank you, also, to all who volunteer - whether that be with your time, your talents, or with donations.
