    Thursday at Stromsburg Chamber’s after-hours event at the Midwest Covenant Home awards were presented. The chamber asked for nominations in the following categories: volunteer of the year, legend award, emergency responder of the year, and educator of the year. In addition, they awarded their scholarships for which high school seniors apply.
