Carolyn Ekstrand Donates Car to Busy Wheels

Pictured is Jack Anderson, Bob Greenwall, Kathy Hengelfelt and Steve Oquist with Carolyn Ekstrand’s car. Carolyn Ekstrand recently passed away, and she left her car to Busy Wheels. Carolyn was a Busy Wheels driver for many years. Busy Wheels is a service provided by the Stromsburg Senior Center where they provide a ride for seniors. Bob Greenwall and Jack Anderson are volunteer drivers along with Beverly Bauer. Steve is Carolyn’s nephew and Kathy is a close friend; they are handling her arrangements. The 2006 model has about 80,000 miles. The three volunteer drivers’ average age is over 80, so the Senior Center would like more drivers. If interested, please contact the center.
