STROMSBURG - Each year two people are chosen as festival king and queen. These people have served the community in various ways, through their employment and/or volunteerism.

This year TimAlvis was chosen as king and Sherri Georges as queen. Both have served as teachers and since retired. Sherri was sincerely shocked and touched with this honor as tears were coming down her face as she walked up to…
