Plans are moving forward for the June 16-18 Stromsburg Swedish Midsommar Festival. The next planning meeting will be held at the Stromsburg Public Library on Tuesday, April 11, starting at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Committee heads are encouraged to attend at least one meeting.
The ad in the Nebraska Life magazine will be in the May/June issue. Their magazine is well read and helps get the word out to lots of people. The theme for the parade will be “Here Come the Swedes,” so be thinking of what kind of entry you can put together to make it a great success. The evening entertainment is finalized. More about that will be available soon.
Anyone that can help before, during or after festival is welcome. There are many needs to help make this weekend a great one.
