LINCOLN - Cross County boys made history last week, bringing home the third place trophy in Class C2 boys’ basketball. Cross County had never made it to state in boys’ basketball, and before consolidation, Stromsburg was in 1983 and Benedict in 1994. They did so by defeating North Bend Central in districts at home, becoming the fifth seed and defeating fourth seed Summerland in the first round,…
