OSCEOLA - The Polk County Fair kicked off with some events held prior to the official week. Tuesday evening 4-Hers participated in archery (the second year for this event) and Wednesday afternoon they participated in the culinary challenge and horticulture.
The culinary challenge involves a theme, making a food item related to the theme, giving a presentation to a judge about the item and answering…
