Newly crowned Swedish Festival King Steve Dubas and Queen Judy Hanson were honored at a public reception at the Rose Colored Glass in Stromsburg on Thursday, June 25. Several past festival kings and queens were there to congratulate the new king and queen. The 2026 Swedish festival king/queen float will be in the Polk County Fair parade in Osceola on Saturday July 11 starting at 3:00pm at the fairgrounds, traveling uptown around the courthouse and back. Since the festival parade was rained out, this is a great opportunity to come and support our new King Steve Dubas and Queen Judy Hanson and their attendants! Hope to see you there!
