Ten years ago a group of people from the Stromsburg Chamber of Commerce and Woman’s Club formed a committee to get an illuminated electronic welcome sign in the square next to the highway.
Generous donations of $35,432.00 were raised from the city, organizations, businesses and individuals in Stromsburg and the surrounding area.
