NEBRASKA - New laws go into effect as of January 1st. The main ones that affect most people are minimum wage going up and data privacy law.
Minimum wage is going up by $1.50 per year until 2026, and after that an increase that is equal to an annual cost of living increase. As of January 1, 2025 minimum wage for Nebraska is $13.50 per hour. That is for part-time and full-time employees.
