According to the Polk County Assessor, 73 protests were filed after the recent valuations went out to property owners. Approximately 2/3 of these protests were in Stromsburg. Assessor Jodi Kranz mentioned there is some clean up to do. Last year was more Polk and Osceola, and this year focused more on Stromsburg.
