On Tuesday, October 21, more than 50 enthusiastic quilters gathered in Osceola for a captivating Quilt Trunk Show presented by Natalie Meyer of Grand Island.

OMAHA – Teams 5155E (Sam Haug and Bradley Lott) and 5155K (Cannen Mooney and Kirk Sparrow) competed in a Vex robotics event at Brownell-Talbot on Saturday.Only team E competed in skills, and they ended up third, just shy of an award.Both teams competed in qualifying rounds.

Several meetings were held early this year with the council leaders from Lincoln concerning getting Scouting started locally for younger children. There was a definite interest shown at these meetings and also adults willing to step forward to be leaders.

Peterson Retires After 30 Years at USPS
