Late Night Swim

The Stromsburg City Pool is having a late night swim from 8-11 PM on Friday, August 1st. You must be in middle school or older to stay past 9 PM. Regular pool admission prices will apply.

Plans are close to final for the 90th reunion of the Carl Gustaf and Charlotta Johnson family reunion to be held on Saturday,August 9th. This couple was blessed with 10 children (7 girls and 3 boys). Quite a few of their descendants still live close, but some have moved far away.

Swedish Festival Evaluation

An evaluation meeting for the 2025 Swedish Midsommar Festival was held on July 16th. Reports were shared by those present and by those unable to attend. Ideas for the future were discussed, bills paid and financial report given.

Nebraskans who want to donate or receive harvested deer can participate in the Deer Exchange.This program is designed to accommodate the additional harvest of deer. It brings together hunters who have a surplus of deer with recipients willing to accept the deer meat.
