Nebraska weather strikes again, although we are truly thankful for the rain. We were taking residents outside for an activity and there was thunder! Well, time to go to plan B. Perhaps after the rain we can go out if it is not too humid.

Did you get an obscure postcard in the mail a couple weeks ago? It said “Polk County Comprehensive Plan” and town hall meetings on July 1st and July 8th. On the back was a QR code and website for a survey.We did and we attended the second town hall meeting to see what it was.

Above: Blossomfield 4-H presented Milton Toy and Nate Junck with quilts of valor. Milton Toy is a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war. He served on the flight deck of a large aircraft carrier off the coast of Vietnam. Currently, he is a senior member of the Veterans Service Committee of Polk county.
