OSCEOLA COMMUNITY PLAYERS PRESENT “UNSOUND EFFECTS”

OSCEOLA– Sunday, the Osceola Community Players presented a play in three acts twice (at 2 PM and 7 PM). The play was as hot as the auditorium. The director of the play was Jenni Erhart, in her fifth year. She is planning one for next summer, and encourages any interested to come try out.

STROMSBURG - A new gazebo is in the square thanks to a memorial by the Warren and Betty Johnson family. It was dedicated on Saturday.The gazebo was built by Wild Rose Carpentry (Glenn Calderwood, owner) and Unlimited Welding (Michael “Woody” Woodward, owner).

4-H Classy Clovers Collect Cans

The Classy Clovers 4-H Club is turning trash into treasure with a yearlong aluminum can recycling project that’s making a difference in the community—and now they’re bringing their efforts to the Polk County Fair, July 9–13.
