Osceola Fire & Rescue Recognition

Osceola Fire and Rescue held its 15th Annual Jim and Lorraine Lewis Banquet. The Banquet was very well attended by current and Honorary Firefighters, their spouses and significant others, City and Rural Board members as well as Nebraska and National Volunteer Fire Fighters Association Members.

Osceola Legion Auxiliary

The Osceola American Legion Auxiliary will be hosting their annual Soup & Dessert Fundraiser on Sunday, February 2 from 11:00 to 1:00 at the American Legion Hall in Osceola; free will donation.

Big Game Society Auctioning Elk Permit

A bull elk permit will be auctioned by the Nebraska Big Game Society on March 6 in Lincoln. The 14th annual meeting and auction will be at Hillcrest Country Club, 9401 O St, Lincoln.Residents and nonresidents are eligible for the bull elk permit.

A dear friend, residing elsewhere, traveled to her younger sister’s for attending the funeral of their younger brother -- all of whom are wonderful.Given tiring, related stress, etc., the girls decided to have their hair done, with my friend opting to add some brightening “highlights”.

OCAG

The Osceola Community Action Group welcomes donations for a new speaker system to be used by the community, especially for outdoor events. It is our goal to have a new system in place for Memorial Day next May.
