The Benedict East Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, April 4 at the Benedict Community Park and the Benedict Community Center. The eggs were hidden through out the park area and playground and approximately 75 kids were on hand for the hunt. Following the outdoor activities, the kids went inside where they decorated Easter Cookies and met the Easter Bunny. PCN photos by Ken Kush

Homestead National Park Launches Challenge

BEATRICE, Neb. – Homestead National Historical Park kicks off the Homestead Challenge on Friday, April 17, 2026, at a 3 p.m. reception at the Education Center. Learn about the Homestead Challenge and be one of the first to participate and enjoy refreshments.

Cross County FCCLA Brings Home Awards from State

LINCOLN - State FCCLAleadership conference took place last Sunday to Wednesday in Lincoln at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Cross County had 32 attending.
