Dawg Daze Save the Date

SAVE THE DATE! Osceola Dawg Daze will be August 27th to September 1st. OHS homecoming will be September 1st. Mark your calendars!

Osceola Booster Club Golf Tournament

The Osceola Booster Club golf tournament will be August 19, 2023 at Ryan Hill Country Club. The shot gun start will be at 9:30 a.m. and it’s a 4-person scramble. Sign up at the country club.

Library News

Our Summer Reading Program extravaganza is on Thursday, July 13! We’re so excited to celebrate our program participants with prizes and a hot dog luncheon! Please remember to bring your time log sheets, signed by your parents, to turn in for prizes. We have plenty of prizes for everyone!

Osceola Farmers Market

Osceola’s Farmers Market returns on Wednesday, July 26th and will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The St. Paul Lutheran Youth Group will be selling Daniel’s produce so grab some locally grown veggies and support these young people.

Blood Pressure Clinics

Clinics to monitor blood pressure will also be held each Tuesday of the month. They will be held at the Senior Center and rotate between each town in Polk County.

Osceola Legion Auxiliary

American Legion Auxiliary Unit #91 will meet on Thursday, July 20th, at the Osceola Legion Club at 7:00 pm. We will be reviewing changes to our Constitution & Bylaws. Diana Langer is the hostess.

Johnson is President’s List Honoree

TOPEKA, KS-- Washburn University is pleased to announce its President’s List honorees for the spring 2023 semester. To qualify for the President’s List, a student must complete at least 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 4.0.

Benefit for Burritt

Save the date! On August 13th will be a benefit for David Burritt who served Osceola Fire and Rescue and Nebraska Firefighters as a Instructor with the Nebraska Fire Service. Dave is currently battling cancer.
