Parade Grand Marshall Named

Dave Thompson was selected by the committee as this year’s parade grand marshall. Dave and Sandy Thompson moved to Stromsburg in 1988. Back then, they were a young couple with two preschool daughters.

Osceola Loses Dentist

Osceola is losing their dentist. After taking over the building from Bryan Dickey, DDS about four years ago, Dr. Kristen Hermansen- Ryan and her staff are no longer going to be practicing in Osceola. Dr. Ryan and staff have a wonderful new building in Central City.

To continue our summer faith page, we should mention the other camp close by. Covenant Cedars Bible Camp is just outside Polk County, north of Hordville on W Road. Covenant Cedars is affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church. Covenant Cedars started in 1949.
