Jeffrey Elementary Book Club Needs Your Help

Friends and family, we’d love your help again with something for our Preschool - 5th Graders this school year. One of our favorite memories from grade school was looking through and ordering from Scholastic Book Club (Let’s be real, we STILL enjoy it.

Dazzler Mini Oct. 14

The Dazzlers will be holding a kids cheer and dance camp on Friday, Oct. 14 for preschool through 5th grade. Camp will be at the NEW gym from 5-7 p.m. Campers will perform that evening at the Osceola home football game vs. Nebraska Lutheran at 7 p.m.

Trunks Needed for Shelby’s Trunk or Treat

Help us create a safe environment for our kids to gather Halloween treats, on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Trunk or Treat starts at 2 p.m. till treats are gone or 4pm. A fabulous prize will be given to the Best Decorated Trunk! Come sign up at the Shelby Community Library.

Christmas Sales Opportunity

Attention crafters, direct sales people and antique dealers: Saturday, December 3rd will be a sales opportunity at the American Legion in Shelby from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $30 for your 8 x 8 space including two chairs. Bring your own table! Additional fee for table rental.

Shelby Senior Center Contest

Starting Monday October 3rd, a photo will be posted somewhere in Shelby. The first person who correctly identifies the photo will win a free meal at the Senior Center. The photo will be posted on Facebook and the first correct comment will win. Oct. 7 at home vs. Cedar Bluffs, Hawaiian Oct.

FCCLA Selling Pies

Cross County FCCLA has started their fall fundraiser! FCCLA is raising funds to cover the costs of chapter activities. You can support the fundraiser by purchasing a pie from any Cross County FCCLA member or emailing the chapter adviser, Sarah Hubel (shubel@crosscounty.esu7.org) to place an order.

Johnson Named MCH’s Fan of the Week

Lottie Johnson enjoyed some special Cross County visitors when she was presented with a new Cougar t-shirt as MCH Fan of the Week. Lottie graduated from Benedict High School in 1950.
