C. G. Johnson Reunion

Carl Gustaf and Charlotta Johnson were among the many who emigrated from Sweden to the United States in the year 1869. They moved to Polk County in 1871 where they lived in a dugout and homesteaded.

School Lunch Program

Cross County Schools has been notified by the Nebraska Department of Education Nutrition Services that student breakfast and lunch meals will no longer be free. Please plan accordingly. The Board of Education has not raised lunch or breakfast prices for students in three years.
