SWEDISH FESTIVAL

The next planning meeting will be held at the Stromsburg Public Library on Monday, April 25, at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Final plans will be made soon. The posters and advertising will be done the first part of May. All entry forms and changes need to be received by May 1.

LIBRARY NEWS

On Thursday, May 5th the Stromsburg Public Library along with other area libraries will be presenting a Spark Joy program via Zoom from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. There is a $5.00 cost per person to attend that you can pay the night of the program. This fee covers the cost of class materials and snacks.

So You Think You Can Speak Swedish

The “So You Think You Can Speak Swedish” Contest will be held on the evening of April 30th during the Valborgs Natt festivities. Contestants will read two verses of “Children of the Heavenly Father” in Swedish, to be judged by Kelsey Patton and Bob Greenwall.

Immunization Clinics

The Polk County Health Department will hold immunization clinics at the Polk County Health Department in Osceola on Wednesday May 4th, 2022 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday, May 18th, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. An appointment is required for compliance to the COVID-19 directives.

Blood Pressure Clinics
