Polk County NewsSTROMSBURG - We did it again! This year people provided Christmas gifts for 29 school-aged students. It can be overwhelming when we receive the list from the school of anonymous families that include a variety of wants and needs, but it always comes together with tremendous success.

The holidays are a special time in Nebraska. We volunteer to serve our communities. Families and friends spend more time together. But for too many Nebraskans, the holidays can be lonely. Families are increasingly spread apart.
