Acard shower is being requested for Dale Anderson who will be celebrating his 90th birthday on December 12th. Dale was a 1953 graduate of Stromsburg High School. His address is 1209 N 37th Street, Lincoln, NE 68503.

NNTC Pays Out Capital Credits of Over $4M

NNTC is set to pay out capital credits to 5,228 current customers and 1,626 former customers for a total of $4,731,377.13!While it sounds too good to be true, NNTC can pay customers back because of the company’s status as a cooperative. NNTC is one of seven telephone cooperatives in Nebraska.

District One Act Results

STROMSBURG – Wednesday, Cross County hosted C2-4 districts. Ravenna took the big win, including best technical crew and the two outstanding performing awards. Cross County came in runner up with “The Comic Book Artist”.

WINTER ROAD CONDITIONS: WHY IS SALT NOT ALWAYS USED?

STROMSBURG - Winter arrived last week with over two inches of snow. Roads were not good on Saturday, Nov. 29th.Some highways are marked “Caution. Surface not salted.” Why is this so? Why do certain types of streets/highways not get salted? How long? What do they do instead?
