    GRAND ISLAND - Several Polk County youth went to Grand Island to show their animals, and many exhibits went as well. Students went in 4-H and FFA; FFA wore yellow with 4-H in blue shirts.

    Collin Vrbka from Shelby received Grand Champion awards in categories of heavyweight steer, crossbred steer and lightweight steer. He received Supreme Champion in Market steer. These are all in FFA.
