    Polk County celebrated veterans on Monday. Osceola and Shelby-Rising City held their Veterans’ Day services at 9 AM while Cross County and High Plains held theirs at 10 AM. All were at the respective high school gyms.Osceola honored approximately 22 Vietnam veterans by giving them lapel pins. Osceola also honored five veterans by awarding them a Quilt of Valor.
