SHELBY- The 2024 high school football season did not end the way the Shelby-Rising City Huskies and coach Zach Kubik wanted it to end.
On a misty November night in Fairfield at Sandy Creek High School, the Huskies lost their second game of the year to the Sandy Creek Cougars and it wasn’t pretty,- 54-0 to end their season 9-2, both losses to D1 State Champion Sandy Creek.
