    SHELBY – The locals wanted 80-0, but the S-RC football team only won 44-22 over Boyd Co. Thursday. Shelby-Rising City’s first-round win over Boyd County was just what head coach Zach Kubik ordered – the Huskies  (9-0) scoring the first 44 points of the contest with a dominating defense holding the visiting Spartans to just 32 yards and two first downs in the first half.
