HOWELLS- A Polk County showdown between Osceola and Cross County took place in Howells, 75 miles north in Colfax County on Tuesday night in the semifinals of the D1-3 girls subdistrict basketball tournament.
Cross County already owned a pair of wins over the Osceola team, by 10 at Cross County and a buzzer beater in the finals of the Crossroads Conference Tournament, 42-40 in late January.
