STROMSBURG- The Cross County football program has bounced around between Class C2 and Class D1 like a ping pong ball.
In 2015 the Cougars were part of the D1 class, 2016 and 2017 they went back up to 11-man football, but were back in the eight-man game from 2018 to 2023.
The 2024 and 2025 season they went back to C-2 but this year are preparing for a return to the eightman ranks under new head coach…
