Nebraska’s Legislature to Face Significant Budget Shortfall

The Nebraska Legislature will likely face a significant budget shortfall when it reconvenes in January. How large the shortfall will be is yet to be determined but early signs point to a larger shortfall than the $646 million shortfall we managed to cover this past legislative session.
