SHELBY- The 2025 Shelby-RC Huskies (11-1) came up one game short of making a November trip to Memorial Stadium in Lincoln to play for a Class D1 State championship.

The 2026 team is still hungry and with a great core returning, a move down to D-2 and several younger players ready to contribute at the varsity level, expect the Huskies to be a team to go deep into the post-season.
