    WISNER — The Polk County Slammers went 2-1 at the Wisner Invite over the weekend.

    The Slammers opened play with a 9-0 win over Logan View/ Scribner-Snyder on Saturday.

    Courtney Sunday scattered 4 hits across 5 innings, striking out 4 batters to get the win.

    Sierra Boden and Sunday each had 2 RBI in the game.

    The Slammers fell 8-2 to NEN in the afternoon match up.
