No. 2 Cougars Complete Comeback, Win C2-7 Subdistrict Final

    STROMSBURG — No lead was safe — not in a game, not for the set.

    Down in sets 2-1, No. 2 Cross County won the fourth and fifth sets to defeat No. 9 Fullerton and win the C2-7 volleyball subdistrict, 25-27, 25-14, 19-25, 25-20, 15-13. The Cougars (28-4) now advance to host a district final. Their opponent will be released later this week.
