Wrestling got underway in week one with Shelby-Rising City and Cross County-Osceola competing at the Lakeview Invite on Friday, and High Plains in action at Conestoga on Thursday. In addition High Plains and Shelby-Rising City were in a triangular against Clarkson-Leigh, and Saturday Cross County-Osceola traveled to Howells-Dodge on Saturday after a quick night of rest.
