Cross County finished as runner-up at the District with their performance of Sillyheart, the play of a fairytale come to life in the imagination of a sick child who is listening to the story told by her father.

STROMSBURG — Cross County finished as runner-up at the One-Act recently at Centennial High School.
The production missed qualifying for State by four points. Aquinas won the district with 179 points to Cross County’s 175 points. Cross County competed in the Class C1-2 District.
Director Chase Kuhnel said she was proud of her cast this year.
