HAMPTON — High Plains girls dropped a close one on Thursday to Hampton, 39-34, before bouncing back at St. Edward for a 50-10 win.
The Hampton game was back-and-forth all night as neither team could put the other away. The Storm and Hawks traded leads throughout the game and the Hawks closed out the game on a 12-4 run for the win.
