YORK — Within the first 14 seconds of Monday’s Crossroads Conference quarterfinal game with East Butler, Cross County’s boys basketball team had watched James Elgin’s dunk attempt clang off the rim and before three minutes elapsed its top scorer, Tanner Hollinger, had re-aggravated a previous injury and would go scoreless in the game.
