LINCOLN — Discussion is picking up regarding the U.S. 81 construction project.
The Nebraska State Highway Commission met on Friday in Lincoln and discussed the 40-mile section of U.S. 81 from York to Columbus. Dawn Knott, project studies engineer, gave the commission an update on the project that would expand the two-lane highway to a four-lane divided highway.
