    Shelby Fire & Rescue held it’s annual awards night on Sunday. The awards were presented by President Gene Schlesinger, Fire Chief Jon Eller and EMT Captain Denise Humlicek.

    Jared Whitmore was named Firefighter of the Year. Larry Tworek received the Community Service Award. Danielle Schaaf was named Rookie of the Year. Nate Kracl was named EMS Person of the Year.
