SHELBY — Polk County eighth graders are well on their way to becoming the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Last week more than 70 eighth grade students gathered at Shelby- Rising City for Inventure Day. It was a chance for the Cross County, Osceola and Shelby-Rising City students to meet with local business leaders (who served as mentors) and take an idea and turn it into a full product. The day w…
