STROMSBURG — After 4 years, Untamed Roan in Stromsburg is closing. Owner Kristin Nuttelman has expressed this change is due to her life changes. She stated on her Facebook page that she “would like to start with a heartfelt Thank You for your support over the last 4 years. I have enjoyed getting to know each one of my customers. From the life stories we shared, and laughter and even tears we have shed, I have made many life-long friends.
I have enjoyed the challenges of being an entrepreneur. At times this has not been easy.”
She is planning to put more time to her family and health.
She told Polk County News her last day will be at the end of May and now has merchandise on sale. The entire store and website is 50 percent off. In-store pick up is available. Hours are currently the same, but please watch the Untamed Roan Facebook page for any updates. Future plans for the building are not yet determined.
